AI-Based Software for Personalized Myopia Management

Dec 26, 2025

OptiDynamic™ is a doctor-led system designed to help manage myopia in children and teenagers. It combines AI software with custom-made spectacle lenses where each lens is designed for one person and can be adjusted over time as the child’s eyes change.
The system uses advanced nano-scale photolithography (Akeso’s MetaRx™ technology) to make lenses with very fine optical structures that cannot be produced with traditional methods.
OptiDynamic™ is meant for use by trained eye-care professionals. It supports non-invasive myopia management through spectacle lenses.
The goal is to help slow myopia progression, including early-onset and high myopia, while maintaining good vision quality and wearing comfort. It is designed to support long-term eye health in children.
The system supports lens designs based on published clinical research. A one-year randomized and controlled clinical study showed that certain lens designs reduced myopia progression and slowed eye growth compared to standard single-vision lenses.
The manufacturing process allows very small and complex optical patterns, including 2D and 3D structures, which are not possible with traditional lens production methods.

Childhood myopia is increasing worldwide, especially high myopia, which raises the risk of serious eye problems later in life. OptiDynamic™ supports early and personalized intervention using spectacles, which are widely accepted and easier to use than invasive options. The system helps make advanced myopia management more accessible and scalable for public health and community eye-care programs.
