On July 17, 2025, a major industry forum dedicated to the future of eyewear manufacturing and myopia management was held at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Taiyuan. The event, themed “Precision Empowerment,” marked the inaugural Eyewear Industry Digital and Intelligent Innovation & Development Forum of Shanxi Province.
Bringing together eyewear manufacturers, optometry professionals, ophthalmic experts, and technology leaders, the forum explored how digitalization, intelligent manufacturing, and precision optics are reshaping the global eyewear and vision-care industry.

At the forum, Akeso Eyecare presented its flagship MetaRx™ lithography-based physical lens technology, drawing strong interest from industry specialists and practitioners.
Through live demonstrations and hands-on experiences, Akeso introduced its OptiDynamic™ AI lithography personalized myopia management solution, highlighting several core advantages:
Together, these capabilities demonstrate how precision manufacturing and AI-driven personalization can significantly improve both myopia control efficacy and user experience.
Beyond precision lenses, Akeso also showcased complementary vision-health solutions, including:

These innovations form a multi-dimensional, full-chain myopia management ecosystem, addressing prevention, control, and visual training—particularly for children and adolescents.
The forum welcomed senior representatives from across the eyewear and optometry sectors, including:
Their participation underscored the industry’s growing focus on precision optics, digital transformation, and evidence-based myopia management.

Akeso’s exhibition area quickly became one of the most active spaces at the venue. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions, examined lens samples, and evaluated real-world application scenarios.
Akeso’s technical team provided detailed explanations covering:
Industry professionals widely recognized the solutions for offering new perspectives on precision eyewear design and practical pathways toward individualized vision care.
In his keynote address, “Crafting Precision with Light: MetaRx™ Lithography Technology Driving the Global Evolution of Precision Myopia Control,” Dr. Cai Xiaogu shared Akeso’s technical and clinical vision.

Dr. Cai explained how lithography—originally developed for semiconductor manufacturing—has been successfully adapted for ophthalmic lens production, enabling micron-level structural accuracy and repeatability.
By integrating AI algorithms, individual visual data, and advanced optical design, Akeso’s approach allows lenses to be tailored to each wearer’s visual profile, improving both clinical outcomes and long-term wearability.
MetaRx™ lens lithography technology is a high precision manufacturing approach that allows for extremely accurate micro structural control during lens production. Its application in eyewear manufacturing represents a significant advancement over traditional lens fabrication methods. By enabling precise optical zone design and customized defocus control, MetaRx™ technology provides a new technical foundation for evidence based and personalized myopia management.
This technological breakthrough not only improves lens quality and performance but also opens new possibilities for innovation across the entire eyewear industry.
