The Eye Health Summit 2025 concluded successfully in Guangzhou, convening leading ophthalmologists, optometrists, researchers, and industry innovators from around the world. Held under the theme “A New Era, A New Blueprint,” the summit focused on emerging trends, evolving clinical needs, and breakthrough technologies shaping the future of global eye health.

Now in its second decade, the Eye Health Summit has become one of the most influential academic and industry forums in the eye-care field. Jointly initiated by internationally recognized experts, the summit has consistently promoted scientific exchange, technological innovation, and evidence-based clinical practice, making a lasting contribution to the advancement of vision health worldwide.
At the opening ceremony, Bai Fan presented an in-depth interpretation of the 2025 Myopia Management White Paper, emphasizing that personalized myopia management is rapidly emerging as the cornerstone of effective prevention and control strategies.
During the themed forum “New Trends, New Scenarios, New Technologies,” Cai Xiaogu, CEO & Founder of Akeso Eyecare, delivered a keynote address titled:
“How MetaRx™ Lens Lithography Technology Enables Personalized Myopia Management.”

In his presentation, Dr. Cai detailed how lithography-based optical manufacturing—adapted from advanced industrial precision processes—enables nanometer-level control of optical structures within ophthalmic lenses. This unprecedented precision allows lenses to be tailored to individual visual profiles, significantly improving accuracy, effectiveness, and comfort in myopia management.
Dr. Cai highlighted the strong alignment between MetaRx™ lithography technology and the expert consensus outlined in the 2025 White Paper, reinforcing its relevance as a next-generation technical pathway for precision myopia control.
The keynote sparked active discussion among attending experts, many of whom noted that MetaRx™ introduces a new paradigm for personalized optical correction, with strong potential to shape future clinical and commercial practices in eye health.
At the exhibition area, Akeso presented its OptiDynamic™ AI lithography-based personalized myopia management solution, recognized as the world’s first system of its kind manufactured using lithographic precision.
Key advantages demonstrated included:

Designed to meet the evolving and individualized needs of adolescents across different stages of myopia progression, the solution is supported by industry-first personalized assurance services focused on long-term use and outcomes—addressing the limitations of one-size-fits-all lens designs.
Akeso also showcased its Evosight Flip™ Optical Far-Sight Reading Device and Evosight Desk™ AR Far-Sight Display, forming a comprehensive “prevention–control–training” myopia management ecosystem. These solutions received consistent positive feedback for their practical application value and system-level approach to children’s visual health.
During the Extraordinary Brand 10th Anniversary Awards Ceremony, Akeso was honored with the “Extraordinary Vision Care Brand” award. The recognition acknowledged Akeso’s sustained innovation, technical leadership, and impact on the vision-care industry, while reflecting strong confidence in its future role in advancing precision eye-health solutions globally.

As part of the summit’s public welfare initiatives, Akeso donated OptiDynamic™ lenses valued at RMB 500,000 to the Asia Optometric Management Academy (AOMA).
The donation will support the “Vision Care Action” program led by the Beijing Tongsheng Public Welfare Foundation, reinforcing Akeso’s long-standing commitment to children’s visual health, social responsibility, and evidence-based public welfare initiatives.

Eye Health Summit 2025 provided a high-level platform for ongoing dialogue on emerging technologies, new clinical scenarios, and evolving industry trends. The strong engagement and knowledge exchange throughout the event injected fresh momentum into the continued development of the global eye-health ecosystem.
Akeso’s participation reaffirmed its position at the forefront of precision optics, personalized myopia management, and next-generation eye technology.
